Parents of preschoolers often find the topic of childhood literacy very stressful, but it doesn’t have to be! Join early literacy expert Lynn Klaiman for a practical and reassuring discussion about how to start and support your child on their journey toward a lifelong love of reading!
After more than 30 years in education in NYC and D.C. schools, Lynn Klaiman has extensive experience supporting children and families. Most recently, she was the Lower School Learning Specialist at Georgetown Day School for more than a decade.
Today, Lynn works privately with children and families from preschool through elementary school. Her work includes one-on-one instruction, educational consulting, literacy assessments, and parent and teacher workshops. She helps families understand their child’s strengths, identify potential roadblocks to learning, and develop thoughtful plans for moving forward.
