Beth El is going back to the movies!
In the spirit of the High Holidays, JxJ is screening films in September that explore some of life’s big questions – renewal, repentance, restitution, and more. Join your Beth El community for a screening of Death & Taxes at the Edlavitch DCJCC on Tuesday, September 15, at 7:00 pm.
Death & Taxes is a feature documentary about family, wealth, inequality, and the American Dream, viewed through the very personal story of a father and son at odds over what kind of inheritance we want to leave our children – and our country. Filmed over more than 20 years, the film weaves intimate family footage with perspectives from prominent experts on all sides of the estate-tax debate.
