“A Letter to David” Documentary Screening and Discussion

Join Congregation Beth El for a ceremony to mark the second anniversary of October 7th and a screening of the documentary A Letter to David. Filmmaker Tom Shoval crafts a cinematic letter to David Cunio, held in Gaza since his abduction from Kibbutz Nir Oz on October 7, 2023. A decade after David and his twin brother Eitan starred in Shoval’s first film, the director blends past and present footage resulting in a compelling visual journey.  A Letter to David recently won the Best Full-Length Documentary at the Ophirs, the Israeli Academy Awards.
