The American Media Today: Reflections by Journalist Hanna Gutmann

Congregant and journalist Hanna Gutmann spent 50 years covering Washington politics for print, radio, and television outlets. Her beat included the White House, Congress, and federal agencies. She will reflect on the current state of the media, and how individuals, groups, and media outlets are responding to the unprecedented attacks on freedom of the press and freedom of speech imposed under the current administration. How did we get here and why is Congress unwilling to act? What can we do and what could the future look like?
