Sparking Community: Beth El Shabbat Dinners @Home

As we celebrate Beth El’s 75th Anniversary, we invite you to spark community by lighting the Shabbat candles and sharing a meal with fellow Beth El congregants. Reconnect with friends or welcome someone new into your home – a family from Beth El Preschool or Religious School, a family in your neighborhood or school, someone you often sit near during services, a familiar face from Beth El events, a colleague in a similar career, or a fellow Beth El Empty Nester. How ever you choose to celebrate, you’ll be helping strengthen the relationships that make Beth El such a special community.

Whether your table is set for one guest, one family, or many, every Shabbat dinner is an opportunity to build meaningful connections. We invite you to invite your own guests but can also help match those who want to meet someone new – whether as a host or as a guest.

Sparking Community: Beth El Shabbat Dinners @Home will take place throughout the Fall, from September 25 (the first night of Sukkot) through November 20. Every registered host family will receive a special Beth El Shabbat Dinners @Home Host Bag to help make hosting easy and welcoming.
