Kindergarten to 7th Grade

2012-11-11 12.40.19Beyond Religious School, it’s good for kids to have a place to get together and be kids…which is where Bonim, Machar, and Kadima come in. Activities your kids will love, here at the shul, and often conveniently right after Religious School!

Bonim is for children in kindergarten to second grade. The Bonim programs usually meet on Sundays after Religious School and include activities such as Israeli martial arts, stuffing teddy bears for sick children, making toys for shelter dogs, and a pajama Havdalah party.

Machar is for third to fifth graders and the programs are also on Sundays. A typical activity might be a scavenger hunt at Dave and Buster’s, a chocolate seder, or a hayride and bonfire. Their events can either be on a Saturday night or Sunday after Religious School.
