Vashti’s Banquet

Celebrate Purim and recapture your spirit with the Women of Beth El in a unique and exciting way at Vashti’s Banquet on March 6, 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm. Recapture the fun and sisterhood that must have surrounded Vashti and her companions at her last banquet with food, music, and special activities. The evening will include dinner, a tikkun olam project/collection, a henna artist, and Israeli dancing. Harem pants encouraged.

Tikkun Olam project: As part of Women of Beth El’s Vashti Banquet on March 6, we have organized a tikkun olam collection for the Interfaith Works Women’s Shelter in Rockville. It is traditional to complete the commandment of tzedakah at Purim time. Please join us in fulfilling this mitzvah! Click here for more information and to sign up to participate.
