Practicing Mindfulness: Jewish Meditation and the Study of Jewish Ethics
»
With few exceptions, the best songs from Tin Pan Alley, Broadway, and Hollywood musicals were written by Jews. Join us on a journey where we take you through the lives and music of three great composers of American popular music.
Join us on Sunday, May 21, at 5:00 pm at Beth El as our MC, Henry Kahn, leads us through the catalogues of Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, and Leonard Bernstein, featuring live performances by Julie Mack, Sarah Fradkin, rising opera stars Jessica Bloch and Carl Rosenthal, and the Beth El choirs. The concert will be followed by a reception.
The cost is $10 per person in advance or $13 at the door. Please use the form below to RSVP.
