Simchat Torah is one of the most unsolemn nights on the Jewish calendar!  Join us on Thursday, October 12, 7:30 pm, for our annual Simchat Torah evening celebration including singing and dancing, Torahs for everyone, Hershey bars, and the Beth El Band.

Nitzanim – (for children birth – K and their parents). Join us on Erev Simchat Torah for singing, dancing with the Torahs and chocolate!  We will meet downstairs in the Multi-Purpose Room.

Join us on Friday, October 13, 9:30 am, as we complete the Torah reading from Deuteronomy and begin anew with Genesis.  Everyone will receive an aliyah, including the children – in groups, or we would be here till midnight.  For their service to Beth El, we will be honoring two congregants, Jack and Stephanie Ventura, with the special aliyot, Hattan Torah and Kallat Breishit. Help us express our appreciation for all they have done to build our congregation.  Also, it has become Beth El’s custom to wear funny hats on Simchat Torah morning.  Be sure to bring your goofiest head gear with you!  Babysitting will be available in Room B102 (Preschool Wing).

Nitzanim – (for children birth – K and their parents). Join us during the morning service for a Playdate on the Beth El Preschool Playground.  Come to play and do a Simchat Torah craft!
