Route 71: An Israel Road Trip

Come celebrate Yom HaAtzmaut and Israel’s birthday with Route 71: An Israel Road Trip.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to the weather forecast for Sunday morning, the walk that was planned as part of Route 71 will not take place. The program will begin as planned at 10:00 am, and the activities for families with children in K – 5th grades will begin around 10:30 am, immediately after the Yom HaZikaron ceremonies.

There will be two speakers for teens and adlults in the Swoff Chapel:

  • 11:00 am: Hazzan Emeritus Abe Lubin will speak on “Personal Reflections on Growing Up in Israel, Before, During and After the War of Independence.”
  • 11:30 am: Charleston, NC, Shaliach Shai Bibas will speak on “Growing Up in Israel Today – Profiles of Personal and National Courage.”

Food will be served in the lobby beginning around 11:30-11:45 am for those who have registered.

Online registration is now closed. You can pay at the door. The cost is $3 per person.
