This year, Beth El will participate in the ReelAbilities Film Festival on Sunday, February 2. ReelAbilities Northern Virginia and Beth El are proud to present Keep the Change, winner of the Best U.S. Narrative Feature and Best New Director awards at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival. Keep the Change tells the story of David, an upper-class charmer struggling to hide his high-functioning autism. Forced by his parents to attend Connections, a support group for people on the autism spectrum, David falls in love with Sarah, a sheltered young woman who challenges his identity as “normal.” Following the film, there will be a panel to discuss the stigma of mental health issues.
