During a pandemic we are worrying about our physical health and also our mental health. Join us for this three part series on how to help our children as we cope with the anxieties and other mental health worries that are plaguing us.

  • November 30: Helping Children and Teens Thrive in School During the Covid-19 Pandemic with Carey Heller, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist in Bethesda, Maryland. He specializes in the evaluation and treatment of ADHD/executive functioning and related issues.
  • December 14: Anxiety in Children with Dr. Daniel Pine. He is Chief, Section on Development and Affective Neuroscience, in the National Institute of Mental Health Intramural Research Program. Currently his group is examining how mood and anxiety disorders in children affect different parts of the brain.
  • December 21: Mood disorders and Anxiety in Teenagers with Dr. Sandra Rubin. Dr. Rubin is a board certified psychiatrist with extensive training in Child Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry. Dr. Rubin’s specializations include anxiety, depression, attention deficit disorders, eating disorders, learning disabilities, OCD, parenting, grief, mood disorders, and pervasive developmental disorders.
