Send Cards to Residents at Charles E. Smith Life Communities Hebrew Home and the Jewish Foundation for Group Homes
Please use large print. Embrace your creativity, draw a picture, make a collage. Whatever you do will bring a smile to our residents. Mail your cards/drawings to EESLC, Charles E. Make Sandwiches for Shepherd’s Table

Donate Supplies to Central Union Mission
Central Union Mission is in great need of hand sanitizer, isopropyl alcohol, Clorox wipes, Lysol, boxes of tissues, and masks. Drop off these items at the Men’s Shelter at 65 Massachusetts Ave NW Washington, DC 20001. The shelter is not accepting other items at this time. Donate to Manna Food Center
Manna Food Center is accepting non-perishable food donations in large blue bins outside Manna’s warehouse at 9311 Gaither Rd in Gaithersburg. Drop off any time. Food is accepted 24 hours a day. Visit for a list of the most needed foods.

Jewish Earth Alliance Letter-Writing Campaign

Donate Blood
Since hospitals in our area and across the country still need blood in these difficult times, please consider donating blood.  American Red Cross has a blood donor center in Rockville, and NIH has a blood donation center in Bethesda.  If you still wish to give blood, we recommend you check with at least one of those two.  Please visit their websites for information on how to set up appointments and precautions on how to donate safely. Help Low Income Kids Learn to Code
