Exactly one week before what many are calling one of the most significant elections in Israel’s history, Amir Tibon, currently the Washington, D.C. correspondent for the Haaretz newspaper, will educate us on the Israeli election system. Tibon will discuss the especially high stakes of the September 17 Israeli elections and its implications on the U.S.-Israel relationship.

Amir Tibon is an award-winning, rising star in the world of Israeli journalism, political analysis, and scholarship. Amir’s writing on Israel and the Middle East has appeared in publications such as The New Yorker, Tablet Magazine, and The Jerusalem Report.
