Nominations for Beth El Board of Directors
In accordance with the bylaws, six at-large director and 11 officer positions will become vacant at the annual meeting on Thursday, May 16. The officer positions are: president, executive vice president, treasurer, secretary, and seven vice presidents – administration; communications; community engagement; development; education and lifelong learning; tikkun olam; and worship and spirituality. Adult members of Beth El who are in good standing may be considered for nomination. While we often have more members apply than positions available, and some current Board members are eligible to be considered for a second term, we welcome all interested members to apply for leadership positions. Regular attendance at Board meetings on the fourth Tuesday evening of the month is expected.
Potential nominees should contact David Mills, Nominating Committee Chair, at firstname.lastname@example.org or mail to Beth El to his attention no later than Friday, January 25. Interested individuals will be sent a questionnaire concerning their background, experience, and areas of interest.
