TIKKUN LEIL SHAVUOT/SHAVUOT

Join our traditional Shavuot Eve Nighttime Study Session for adults and children on Saturday, May 26Everyone is welcome to join us for all or part of the evening. Following Mincha at 7:00 pm and a light dairy dinner, the adult program will continue past Midnight for those who wish to do so. Featured teachers include Rabbi Bill Rudolph, Rabbi Greg Harris, Hazzan Matthew Klein, Dr. Louis Nagel, Rabbi Laura Rappaport, Rabbi Mindy Portnoy, Rabbi Avis Miller, Elliot Wilner, and Jonathan Band.  Noshes available, including cheesecake, throughout the evening!   School-age children are encouraged to attend their own fun and educational program, 7:00 to 8:45 pm. Dinner RSVP forms are available in the May Scroll; Dinner reservation deadline is Wednesday morning, May 23. Shavuot Services continue:
 

-          First Day: Sunday, May 27, 9:30 am. There will also be a Nitzanim Service for families with children six years of age and under at 10:30 am, after which they will join the main service for the Bikkurim ceremony.

-          Second Day: Sunday, May 27, 6:30 pm; Monday, May 28, 9:30 am; Our Religious School Confirmation will take place during the Monday morning service, when Yizkor will be recited as well.

 

      Note:  Beth El Offices will be closed on Sunday and Monday, May 27 and 28.
