The Saul Bendit Adult Institute will kick off its Fall Term with a
“Taste of Bendit” event on September 21 from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm
Experience free for one night the stimulation and exciting learning experience that goes on in the Institute’s 6-week class program, which starts this fall October 25-26.
A keynote address will be given by Edward N. Luttwak, Senior Associate, Center for Strategic and International Studies of Washington. He will speak on “Unsurprising Developments in the Middle East: The Impact on Israel of the New Political and Military Realities in the Emerging Middle East.” Dr. Luttwak is author of several books, most recently The Grand Strategy of the Byzantine Empire (Harvard University Press, 2010). He has served or serves as a consultant to the US National Security Council, the White House Chief of Staff, the US Department of Defense, US Department of State, and several allied governments and has taught at Bath University UK, Johns Hopkins and Georgetown.
