Facilities

Beth El has almost 60,000 square feet of spectacular space for worship, classes, meetings, dinners, and other purposes. Congregational auxiliaries, committees, and other groups who wish to reserve space for Beth El activities should contact Pam Kocher to make the appropriate arrangements.

Rentals

Most rooms at Beth El are available for rent for private functions including Bar/Bat Mitzvah dinners/receptions; wedding ceremonies and dinners/receptions; Family Shabbat dinners; birthday and wedding anniversary celebrations; meetings and conferences for outside organizations, etc. Religious ceremonies such as weddings, funerals, and b’nai mitzvah for non-members must be approved by the rabbi before a rental will be finalized. Please contact Pam Kocher for information about all rentals, including fees, a list of kosher caterers who may use Beth El’s kitchens, and availability of tables, chairs, sound equipment, etc.

Areas

• Bender Social Hall is a fully renovated, carpeted area with a large, built-in dance floor, and allows for seating for 180 – 200 people for dinner and dancing. Our main kitchen is adjacent to this space. Conferences and meetings may be scheduled in the Bender Social Hall with seating for approximately 350, theatre-style.

• The new Zahler Social Hall is fully carpeted, and seats up to 110 people for dinner, with no dance floor. With the approval of our office manager, one may choose to rent a dance floor and have it installed for your function, and the size of the dance floor will determine its impact on seating capacity. Our smaller kitchen is adjacent to this social hall and is equipped to handle food preparation for events in the Zahler Social Hall. Large meetings may be accommodated in the Zahler Social Hall as well, with seating for approximately 200, theatre-style.

• Our spacious Bride’s Room with a private adjacent restroom is included with all wedding rentals.

• The Main Gallery (hallway) is available for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

• The Bender Family Sanctuary is a lovely setting for a large wedding ceremony with permanent seating for 425. The Swoff Chapel, a more intimate space, can seat about 175. Both spaces are also available for funerals, as well as serving as venues for lectures, etc.

• Our Multi-Purpose Room is uncarpeted and is great for children’s events such as birthday parties, or it can also be partitioned into a maximum of 3 small meeting rooms that can accommodate about 50 people each, theatre-style.

• Six Classrooms can be used for meetings/break-out groups and classes, and include adult-size tables and chairs.
