IS YOUR WORK WORKING FOR YOU? What is my work and does my current work serve me? What can I do to bring my current work to life? Is it time to consider “new” work? What opportunities exist for change & what stands in my way?

How do I balance purpose and passion with practicality? These were just a few of the questions asked and answered at this informative workshop.

Zhava Mitzvah Day project "Happy Hats"

Z'hava particpated in a very moving and inspirational Mitzvah Day project on November 9, 2008. We engaged in Bikkur Cholim (Healing the Sick) by creating soft, colorful jester-like "Happy Hats" that were given to hospitalized children. These whimsical hats are specifically designed to be responsive to both the physical and emotional needs of critically or chronically ill children.  We worked in an assembly line on all aspects of the hats' creation including fabric selection, cutting, sewing, decoration and filling the finished hats with happy thoughts!
