The Blue Yarmulke Award program was created for the "unsung hero of the Men's Club. The member who is always there, contributes willingly and doesn't get recognized."  The awardee is a hard working contributor who helps in a daily minyan, has created a successful program for our club, or works in the kitchen.

Jonathan Stone – Blue Yarmulke Of the Year Award

A member of Congregation Beth El of Montgomery County for over 20 years, a successful lawyer, a loving husband and father of two, Jon has been a leader in our Mens Club in recent years. He served as President for 2007 and 2008, often leading morning services and maintaining several programs single-handedly: the monthly Mincha/Maariv/Havdallah experience, annual kosher wine tasting and annual Chanukah Party. We are also grateful to Jon for his inimicable wit as shown in his brief autobiography below.
